Cottage cheese ice cream has gone viral recently— and there’s a good reason for it! What’s better than being able to enjoy a healthier, just-as-delicious version of your favorite sweet treat? If you’re a fan of cheesecake, you’re going to be obsessed with the flavor that cottage cheese adds to the ice cream. Though you may be skeptical— I can promise you, it tastes incredible!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- It’s packed with protein. With protein-packed ingredients like cottage cheese and protein powder, this ice cream recipe will help you reach your protein goals with ease.
- This ice cream is actually good for you. My cottage cheese ice cream recipe is made from healthy, nourishing ingredients— unlike store-bought ice cream. Store-bought ice cream typically contains unhealthy, harmful ingredients— like high fructose corn syrup, canola or soybean oil, gums, preservatives, and more.
- It’s insanely delicious. This ice cream recipe comes out thick, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The flavor is so rich and delicious— my entire family is obsessed with it!
- It’s easy to make. All you have to do is blend the ingredients together, and add to your ice cream maker— it’s as simple as that! You can also use a Ninja Creami to make this cottage cheese ice cream (which is what I do!).
- It’s versatile. You can add any mix-ins or toppings of your choosing. Fresh fruit, chocolate chips, cacao powder— you name it! Since the flavor of this cottage cheese ice cream recipe is reminiscent of a sweet, vanilla cheesecake, my favorite mix-ins are freshly cut strawberries and homemade graham crackers! It tastes just like a strawberry shortcake— it’s so good!
