Servings4 Ninja Creami Containers

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Ninja Creami, or Ice Cream Maker

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cottage cheese full fat
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk whole
  • 6 scoops whey protein powder flavor of choice
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • 3 egg yolks optional

Instructions

For Ninja Creami

  1. Add all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour the mixture into Ninja Creami containers. Add any flavorings like frozen strawberries, pineapple, or caramel after the first blend (optional). Freeze for at least 24 hours.
  3. Remove container from freezer and let sit for 3 minutes. Use the Ice Cream setting to process. For added fruit, process again after adding.
  4. Stir in toppings like chopped dates or graham crackers by hand. Enjoy right away, or re-freeze for a firmer texture.

For Ice Cream Maker

  1. Blend all of the ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth. If you'd like to add frozen fruit to create a fruity-flavored ice cream, add before blending.
  2. Pour into a prepared ice cream maker and churn for 20–25 minutes until soft-serve consistency.
  3. During the last few minutes of churning, add in any toppings like chopped dates or graham crackers.
  4. Transfer to a container and freeze for 2–4 hours for firmer texture. Serve with additional toppings if desired.

Notes

Store in Ninja Creami containers or airtight container for up to 2 months.
If ice cream becomes too hard, let sit at room temperature a few minutes before scooping.
