Elderberry Syrup
This elderberry syrup combines powerful herbs and honey to boost your immune system. It's easy to make, and tastes delicious!

Ingredients

dried elderberries

dried echinacea

tbsp
dried rose hips

tbsp
dried ginger

cinnamon stick

honey
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine dried elderberries, echinacea, rose hips, ginger, cinnamon stick, and water.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by half.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing down on the berries to extract as much liquid as possible.
Discard the herbs and let the liquid cool completely.
Once cooled, stir in the honey until well combined. Your homemade elderberry syrup is now ready to use!
Notes
Store in an airtight jar or container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
