Immersion blender, food processor, hand mixer, or a whisk., I prefer to use an immersion blender!
Ingredients
1cupavocado oilor neutral oil
1largeegg
1tspmustardI prefer dijon
1tbspapple cider vinegar or lemon juice
dashsalt
Instructions
Add egg, mustard, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, and salt to a tall mason jar or container that fits the head of your immersion blender. Then add the oil last.
Place the immersion blender down to the base of the jar and blend for about 30 seconds without moving the blender.
As the mixture begins to thicken, slowly lift the blender to the top of the mixture to incorporate ingredients well, moving the blender up and down a few times without lifting it out of the mixture.
Continue blending until mayo reaches your desired consistency.
Taste and adjust seasonings if desired. Enjoy!

Store homemade mayo in a jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week!
